Boggle prices a word one way; Scrabble prices the very same words another — and the two scales agree far less than the headline correlation suggests. Boggle pays for length and nothing else; Scrabble pays for which letters you used. That single difference is the whole section, and it ends in a word Boggle cannot score at all. Scrabble here means the bare sum of the official tile values — no double- or triple-letter squares, no word multipliers, no seven-tile bonus, because those are facts about where a word is played rather than about the word. Boggle's one Qu cube is billed as two tiles, Q + U: quiz is 22.
