Every board these dice can ever roll, in one endless scroll — not one of them stored. Each board has a unique number, the number ↔ board mapping runs both ways, so we compute the board you're looking at from its position, live.
A board is which die sits in each cell and which face points up, so the count is D! · 6D: Classic (4×4) 5.9 × 1025, Big (5×5) 4.4 × 1044, Super Big (6×6) 3.8 × 1069. The scroll position is run through a tiny reversible cipher (a Feistel network) before it becomes a board number, so consecutive boards look nothing alike yet every board appears exactly once and any board can be found by its number. Counting a billion boards a second since the Big Bang wouldn't get you a fraction of the way through Big Boggle.
Each card is labelled twice: above the board, # and your scroll position — its size, then its last five digits, because at these magnitudes the leading digits are the same for astronomically many boards in a row and only the last few tick from one card to the next. Below the board sits the board's own number. Both are shortened to fit; every digit of both is in a board's ⓘ panel.
Idea, the custom scrollbar, and the “generate every item on the fly” trick from Nolen Royalty's essay and everyuuid.com — go read it, it's wonderful.
